An activate game room is a room-scale active entertainment attraction: the space is fitted with interactive LED panels and light games, and players clear each room by moving — dodging lasers, throwing balls, climbing, pressing, hiding and reacting. This page is our factory system for that format: an LED interactive game floor as the core grid plus 13 game rooms — laser maze, pipes, hide, climb, control and more — run together under one wristband system, supplied factory-direct with layout design and one-stop delivery.
What Is an Activate Game Room?
The format was popularized in North America by the Activate game room franchise, and it has spread fast: the games are physical, score-driven and highly video-clip friendly, so venues that install one see it featured in guests' short videos for free. Chinese manufacturers — including our factory — build their own versions of the concept, and this system is ours.
A session runs on a wristband: the front desk activates each guest's wristband, guests then play any of the 13 game rooms in any order, the system reports points and rankings per room, and guests check their consumption status at the self-service machines on the way out. The whole room runs from the front desk through the wristband system.
13 Game Modes: Floor Grid, Laser Maze, Pipes, Hide, Climb, Control and More
Floor grid (the core). The jumping grid game covers the floor — and the walls, if you take the wall grid — with colored light tiles: players eliminate the designated colors, avoid the danger colors, and compete in red/blue team modes or group modes for 2-8 groups with tallied scores. The digital grid variant adds numbers and letters on the wall for a harder follow-the-prompt game.
Laser. Two laser rooms: the laser maze fills a passage with fixed and moving laser lines that players cross without touching, and laser gun shooting sends players to hit designated fixed or mobile targets with light guns.
Pipes. A ball-toss room of three cabinets with holes: throw the balls into the designated hole following the prompts, with letter and number games.
Press and react. The flash ring room lines up 12 light tubes — press the button the moment the light reaches it, and every level moves faster. The push room spreads three walls of small circular lights in a matrix for find-the-difference, shape-assembly and match-3 style tasks.
Hide. The devil's eye room: four eye lights and 40 digital lights watch the room while players complete puzzle tasks — arithmetic, word filling — from behind the central pillar, moving only when the eyes are not scanning.
Hoops. Interactive basketball: accurate shooting with light prompts — throw into the basket of the designated color following the game prompts.
Climb. A light rock-climbing room with matrix lights across three walls: stand on the narrow cliff, eliminate the designated color blocks and avoid the danger colors, in static or dynamic confrontation modes that test hands, eyes and feet together.
Control. The extreme control room combines wall lights, direction buttons and foot pedals — players complete group and team tasks by pressing and stepping per the prompts.
More rooms. The striker room of 32 LCD screens (hit the designated patterns), the arena room of 40 hexagonal lamps (find and hit the target matching the top lamp's color), and the rolling room (everyone rotates a giant turntable to align its colors with the moving wall lines).
You do not have to take all 13 rooms — the mode mix is confirmed at the layout stage and prioritized for your space, audience and budget.
LED Interactive Floor Panel Specifications

Who Buys an Activate Game Room System
In our inquiry traffic, the buyers searching for this game project are usually not first-time shoppers — they fall into two groups:
Existing venue operators. You already run an arcade, FEC, trampoline park or play centre and want a group attraction that lifts dwell time and gives your social media a hook. The floor system slots into existing square footage and runs alongside your cabinets — for example our soccer kicker machine or boxing range.
New multi-game venue planners. You are planning a room built around this format from day one — an active game room where the floor grid and the game rooms are the main attractions. We build the whole room as one package: game mix, layout, scoring, wristband and access control arrive as a working whole.
Room Solutions by Scale
A floor-grid corner. The core grid plus one or two game rooms, installed in part of an existing venue — the quickest way to test the format with your audience.
A combined game zone. The floor grid with several game rooms around it — a full active zone inside a larger FEC.
A full activate-style room. The complete package: floor grid, laser maze, climbing wall and the station games, zoned and themed as one room. The layouts scale — the same system grows from a compact single room to a multi-zone venue without changing the platform.
Wristband System and Purchase Options
The wristband system is what makes 13 rooms operable by one counter: activate, play, score, settle. Four purchase structures are available, from a complete set (equipment hardware, game software, wristband system and access control) to a complete set with the software UI and wristband UI customized to your brand, to hardware-plus-software where you keep your own wristband or access control and we provide the connection protocol, up to fully custom game software development as a one-time project.
Why Venues Add an Active Game Room
It is a group attraction: one installation serves a whole party or team at once, which single-player cabinets cannot do. It is social: every room produces scores, races and fail-clip moments that guests film and share. And it is repeatable: 13 rooms and running leaderboards give regulars a reason to come back and beat their number. For venue planning numbers, our arcade room cost breakdown covers how attractions pencil out.
Why Buy From Our Factory
We are the manufacturer — an 8,000 m² factory in Panyu, Guangzhou, with around 80 staff and more than 500 product models, exporting to the US, Canada, Mexico, France, the UK and across Southeast Asia. Our one-stop FEC supply covers market research, design, production, door-to-door logistics, installation and after-sales — the same chain used for a two-floor, 4,900 m² FEC in Myanmar that opened in early 2026 with an LED interactive floor zone among its attractions.
On certification: our LED interactive floor game is the product in our range that carries KC certification, and CE / ISO / FCC certificates are held across the coin-operated machine range. OEM/ODM customization — branding, logo, game content and multi-language voice — is standard for us.
From Inquiry to Opening
1. Send your basics. Room dimensions (length, width, height), your country, and which game rooms you want — or just tell us the audience and we will propose a mix.
2. Layout and 3D design. We draw the room to your dimensions: where the floor grid sits, where each game room goes, player flow and safety clearance.
3. Production. The system is built at our factory against the confirmed layout.
4. Door-to-door logistics. Shipping handled to your port or door.
5. Installation and handover. Installation guidance and staff training, backed by our four-level after-sales system — a response plan within 2 hours, video-call support, a local technician network and dispatched technicians when needed.
Confirm Before You Order
The panel specifications above are fixed; the room-level configuration — how many panels, how many game rooms, which software package — is quoted per project. Send your room size and target game mix and we will return a layout proposal with a quotation. Machines ship with a one-year warranty, lifetime free maintenance and a complimentary spare-parts package.
